Did everyone have a good Independence Day? It rained here and let up just long enough to see the Nashville firework display. Yay! Unfortunately I only saw half because the smoke got too thick where I was sitting to see anything. I was disappointed, but glad that I got to even see a little bit. I was surprised how many people showed up despite all the rain.
This week is going to be kind of slow for me when it comes to music. I will probably only go see The Wheeler Brothers on Thursday. Their new album, Gold Boots Glitter, is good, but does not grab me like the one before it, Portraits.
Other than music, I really just have a lot of work stuff going on. Oh, and I am getting my hair cut on Saturday. This is very exciting because I have been putting it off for 8 months and am in desperate need. I really hope I like the salon. It was recommended by a friend of a friend... so I don't know. I will let you know how it goes. If I don't like it, will any Nashville peeps recommend a salon or stylist that does great things with straight and way too thick hair?
